Kinship makes more possible.

We build stronger support for Black youth in Oregon’s Mid-Willamette Valley.

A new KinCultivate website is in progress.

In the meantime, learn about our work and find ways to stay connected below.

KinCultivate is an intergenerational, community-rooted effort building an ecosystem of support for Black youth and their families in Oregon’s Mid-Willamette Valley.

Through culturally grounded youth programs, family support, and partnerships, we work to reduce isolation and make it easier for young people to feel rooted in community and a wider sense of what is possible. We believe young people thrive when surrounded by more than a single program or organization, and that caring for them is a shared responsibility that should not fall on any single family. That is why our work extends beyond the spaces we create to cultivate kinship and help build a stronger village that keeps showing up for them as they grow.

Imagine what becomes possible when a community decides that the well-being of Black children belongs to all of us.

We’re grateful to the funders, community partners, and aligned organizations that help make this work possible for Black youth and their families in the Mid-Willamette Valley.
